The Star Child
星の形をした、フェルトの手作りマスコットです。
星マーク⭐って、見ていると不思議と、
手足が生えて、三角の帽子をかぶっているみたいに見えてきませんか？
This is a handmade felt mascot shaped like a little star.
When I look at a star symbol ⭐, it somehow starts to feel like it has arms and legs, and even a little triangular hat.
そんな星のシルエットをなるべく崩さずに、
「こんな子がいたらいいな」と思いながら作ってみました。
黄色とブルーを使って、夜空の星をイメージした子です。
I wanted to create a character like that, while keeping the original star silhouette as much as possible.
Using yellow and blue, a child inspired by stars in the night sky was born.
細かいところで気に入っているのは、左右で色の違う目と、ちくちく刺繍した襟巻き。
ちょっとしたポイントですが、この子らしさが出た気がします。
Some of my favorite details are the mismatched colors of the eyes and the little embroidered scarf around its neck.
They’re small touches, but I think they give this star child its own personality.
この星の子も、またどこか別の場面で、ひょっこり登場してもらえたらいいなと思っています(^^)
I’d love to have this little star appear again someday,
in another scene or story. (^^)
