The Bunny-Eared Boy
貼り絵イラストのお仕事で制作したキャラクターです。
布と糸とビーズを貼り合わせてできています。
This is a character I created for a collage illustration project.
It’s made by layering fabric, thread, and beads.
自分でも久々に見たのですが、柄布の合わせ方や、耳のところの模様に糸の線を加えているところ、長靴の口がなみなみのラインになっているところなど、好きだなぁと思います。
I hadn’t looked at it in a long time myself, but seeing it again, I realized how much I still like the way the patterned fabrics are combined, the stitched lines added to the ear details,and the wavy edge along the top of the boots.
青いペンギンくんとボール遊びをしているように台紙に貼って、保管していました。
パーツのアルバムを開くと、すっかり忘れていた子たちが出てきて楽しいです。
こうして改めてスポットライトを当てることができて嬉しいな♪
I had mounted it on a backing board as if it were playing with a blue penguin and a ball, and stored it that way.
Opening my album of collage pieces is always fun—characters I had completely forgotten suddenly appear.
I’m happy to be able to shine a little spotlight on them again like this ♪
何のお仕事で作ったのか、忘れてしまったので(笑)、誌面が出てきたら、また紹介したいと思います。
I’ve actually forgotten what project this character was originally made for (haha), but if I happen to find the magazine pages,
I’d love to introduce them properly another time.
