The Blue Dog
いろいろな青みの布を組み合わせて作った、青いワンちゃんです。
カラー軍手にフリース、フェルトなど、素材はバラバラなのですが、できあがってみると、意外とまとまって見える気がします。
こんなふうに、その時の思いつきで素材をあれこれ組み合わせて作るスタイルが好きです。
This is a blue dog made by combining various blue-toned fabrics.
I used all kinds of materials—colored work gloves, fleece, felt, and more—
and even though they’re quite different, the finished piece somehow feels nicely put together.
I really like this style of making things by freely mixing and matching materials,following whatever ideas come to mind at the moment.
4本の脚は、ある程度動くようにしてあるので、ちょっとしたポーズも取れます。
たとえば……お座り。
All four legs are made to move a bit,
so the dog can strike some simple poses.
For example… sitting.
ちょっと不思議な感じですが（笑）、伏せもできます。
It looks a little unusual (haha), but it can lie down too.
さらに、腕でひっかけて入れ物のふちにちょこんとつかまることも！
なかなかエライでしょ？
It can even hook its arms over the edge of a container and hang on like this!
Pretty clever, right?
このワンちゃんは、ジオラマフォトとして登場している作品もあるので、また改めてご紹介しますね。
こんど、この子のお友達も作りたいと思います。
This little dog has also appeared in some of my diorama photo works,so I’ll be introducing those again another time.
Next, I’m thinking of making a friend for this pup.
